Scandic Oslo Airport - Gardermoen

The shuttle service to the airport was super convenient, taking just around 6 minutes and free for kids under 16. The room was clean and had the coziest beds. I loved the beautiful decor and the common areas, especially with the fun table football in the lobby. Breakfast was the highlight-so many options including local delicacies. I did notice the parking fees were unexpectedly high, and it would have been nice to have a kettle for tea in the room. The experience was enjoyable, but a bit of transparency with parking costs would have been appreciated.

Had a good 2 night-stay from the moment I checked-in. The room was well-organised and modern, I loved the bed and fairly clean bathroom. Everything seemed nice, reasonably clean and the staff were easy going and excellent co-operating people especially during check-out.

Convenient location with a shuttle bus stopping right outside every 20 minutes. Adequate breakfast buffet offering gluten- and lactose-free options.

Not informed about a pre-planned water shortage upon arrival, leading to confusion about toilet availability. The family room felt cramped, and the playroom was closed for repairs during peak season, a letdown for families. The parking information provided was unclear, resulting in extra charges due to time spent purchasing a ticket.

The family room was spacious and featured fun fold-down bunk beds the kids adored. Plus, the breakfast was amazing, boasting an extensive array of local Norwegian delicacies, made mornings a true treat.

The receptionists were warm and helpful, offering excellent customer service. I appreciated the beautifully arranged fruit platter delivered to my room and the varied, delicious breakfast that started early. My room was very clean and had a comfy bed.

During my stay, I was able to leave my large luggage while I traveled to Svalbard, which was super convenient. The early breakfast had a decent selection, and the dinner options were great as well. I also enjoyed the fun lobby area with free table football, which made it a nice place to relax. I did notice that lunch options were sparse, as there wasn't much around the area besides a convenience store.

The interior was modern. The exterior was modest. The early morning breakfast was unattended and too simple to be an AirPort hotel.

The kids loved the cozy family room! While we enjoyed some tasty, simple breakfasts, the staff was super efficient in getting our space ready earlier than expected so we could rest after a long trip. Such a pleasant surprise!
